So slooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! It's so hard to work on Friday afternoons in June. It's sunny, quite lovely, and wonderful. And I'm sitting in a pink cube looking at a computer screen. I'm so tired of this! I'd rather be at any of these places:

I went to see the New Kids on the Block at Poplar Creek. I think that was the greatest day of my young life.

I still can't stand to clean my room. I'm 30 years old and I hate to clean my room, just like when I was a kid. I think I'd rather clean six bathrooms. Sigh. I can't wait for this clean-athon to get done.

Well, I only slept five hours last night. Sigh. I'm totally out of stream. Should I say more? I had a migraine on Monday night/Tuesday morning, so I pumped myself full of caffeine to make it. I ended up staying up way too late last night. I watched three episodes of Lost and didn't start until 10:45. It was so hot last night...plus I was wired. Henry was sure glad I was up late.

Here's what the old nursery rhyme says in case you were wondering: Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace, Wednesday's child is full of woe, Thursday's child has far to go. Friday's child is loving and giving, Saturday's child works hard for a living, But the child born on the Sabbath Day, Is fair and wise and good and gay. Should I post a picture? How about two?

Hello! It's another blazing June afternoon. I remember when June had temperate and enjoyable readings on the Mercury. I finished up my big archiving project. I'm not sure it was worth a day and a half of work, but it's done. I can access all of my articles and photos now. I wonder how the kitties are getting along. Henry spent a lot of time sleeping on the bed last afternoon. That gave Charlie a chance to get some more attention. He's still really skittish, and that is hard to see. I can give him attention! This is taking forever to type. I am quitting now.

Hello! It's another blazing June afternoon. I remember when June had temperate and enjoyable readings on the Mercury. I finished up my big archiving project. I'm not sure it was worth a day and a half of work, but it's done. I can access all of my articles and photos now. I wonder how the kitties are getting along. Henry spent a lot of time sleeping on the bed last afternoon. That gave Charlie a chance to get some more attention. He's still really skittish, and that is hard to see. I can give him attention! This is taking forever to type. I am quitting now.

It's been so hot this summer...we normally don't have any days over 90 and we've had a ton since the middle of May. It's only 86 right now. I have the window air conditioning on and the blinds are closed. It's not too bad. Henry and Charlie are adjusting. Charlie is still unhappy and nervous, but the rancor between teh two kitties seems to be gone. Henry is getting quieter and less clingy. Well, I took a three hour nap today. That was great. It's also the weekend of Lost. I've watched 12 epsiodes of season two. And I have a season one disc to look over. I'll have to add my thoughts in a new post. I'm using free rental coupons, so so far for 6 bucks, I've rented six discs. Not bad!

She thought he was really sweet and would work well with Charlie. Charlie's having a hard time adjusting to being a big brother. He's more scared than upset. He misses the time he had to snuggle with me. I hope that as Henry becomes less needy, Charlie gets to spend time with me. I know...it's so nice to be wanted.
