15 down one to go

I'm almost through with the reading club! What a challenge! Since I've last posted, I have finished a few more titles: http://msupress.msu.edu/bookTemplate.php?bookID=3039 The Muskegon The Majesty and Tragedy of Michigan’s Rarest River I also read my classic, A Wrinkle in Time from Madeline L'Engle. A cheat? Perhaps. It is a Young Adult book that I've read six or eight times. But I enjoyed it so much and really did read it. I've also knocked off most of Eat, Pray, Love. That just leaves A Free Life from Ha Jin, the One Book One County title. I've just ordered it, so I hope it comes in soon.

Frick! Another snow day...another blast of Arctic air. For the third week in a row, it's warmed up, been really wet, dropped around 30 degrees, and rendered it icy. I was just about the brush my teeth at 7:45 this morning when Michelle Wagner called...no nursey...they cancelled the first service. They've since cancelled the second. I have some errands to run today. We'll see if I get to them. Spring???? Please come!

Three good things

I heard a podcast that talked about happiness...we know that has less to do with our circumstances than our attitudes. One of the suggestions was to journal three good things that happened to you each day. Why not? I need a reason to blog. Sunday, 2/3 1. Heard an awesome sermon 3X while running image computer (about praying & confessing) 2. Henry snuggled up to me when I got home from church 3. Took a break from work for a nap
