    Sunny? Where were you today! Kalamazoo is a totally different county from Holland, I guess. It's been snowing and cruddy all day. I am so ready to go home -- only an hour more.

Since I read a lot, I thought it would be cool to keep a record of what I'm reading. I just finished Kitchen Confidential from Anthony Bourdain. How can something so foul be so tender and so sweet? Of course his world is fill with filth and degradation; but this book was written by a tender soul, someone who is passionate about his vocation and the people in his world. Balance

Yesterday, I began this message, and all I typed was a "p".  I am wondering what I was thinking. Since I'm not sure, I will start over again.  It saddens me that I've only written a handful of posts this year. What have I been doing? Working and writing of course. I've said I was busy before, but I had no idea what that meant. I haven't been this busy since college. But those silly credit cards are almost paid off. Really...I've paid off 80 percent of the balance. That's a lot of money. And a lot of work behind it.  Anyway... balance is the key word.
